Hudler is 4th in career shooting percentage among all active players at .151.
Monahan is currently sitting at .160.
Sure it's possible that Monahan is an extreme exception to the rule, but it'd be a poor bet to assume that after a single season or two.
Cogliano shot .188 and .155 his first two seasons. and currently sits at .123 for his career for example.

I'll chime in and say the system Hartley runs is definitely part of the cause of many Flames players having high shooting percentages. They are not a team that just shovels pucks to the net from every angle. They had the 3rd lowest shots for in the league yet scored the 7th most goals because they constantly cycle and wait for those high percentage shots. It also doesn't hurt having skilled players who are tailor made for that kind of system. Also having top tier PMD's that can quickly transition helps the shooting %. Yes you may see some regression this year, but I don't think it's going to be drastic.
