Some perspective on Frolik's contract...

He is 13 months older than Backlund. Had Backlund put up 42 points in each of the last 2 seasons (he put up 39 and 27), who here would have been disappointed with a 5 x $4.3M contract?

Then factor in that Frolik is a UFA not and RFA. Plus, we take him from a conference rival.

This is a great signing. Absolutely no question about it.
