I would bet Treliving doesn't really care how reasonable or unreasonable the opening gambit is from the player's agent. The Flames know what Gio is worth to the team, who else they have to sign in coming years and what exactly they can afford and will respond accordingly. The opening ask likely has little sway over their response.
