And considering a great possession players in Jooris got pushed out of the lineup for Bollig/Raymond, I wouldn't bank on that either. The only way to rid ourselves of bad possession players is to get them off the roster.

Knee jerk? You do realize it's free agent frenzy right? Practically every deal is a knee jerk when you consider that a player you're trying to acquire probably has at least 6 other teams in his ear trying to sign him as well. 4.3 million is very reasonable on a day like today for the quality of player he is.
To be fair, every player looked like garbage in the Anaheim series. They made a lot of our players look bad too.
