Was it just me, or was the beginning a bit disconnected from the end of last season? I recall it ended at night, and the cop cars were closing in on them as they starting running and in the direction they were running more cars appeared over a hill. Then suddenly this season it just cuts to them running through the trees in bright sunlight. I wasn't really impressed with this.
Scofield always seemed far too brainy, and "Moulder" seems far too brainy this season. Also, if Scofield is so meticulous, would he have not painted over the pinholes in his condo? And would he have just tossed paper into the river instead of burning it?
It's TV so one must turn their "willing suspension of disbelief" up a few notches and I guess I didn't turn mine up high enough last night. It'll be tough for the writers to keep the series as fresh as it was the first season.
