If I were ever to go to San Francisco Alcatraz would be one of the first places I check out on my free time.
Apparently Cell 14 in Block D is suppose to be haunted by a very violent ghost. It's said to be always cold and back when it was still open they had a prisoner in there who was screaming saying something with red eyes was in there with him. They ignored him and the next morning when they opened the cell they found him dead with marks on his neck that would suggest he had been strangled to death.
