The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Dougie Hamilton to a multi-year contract. The Flames acquired Hamilton from the Boston Bruins on June 26, 2015 in exchange for Calgary’s 2015 first round pick (15th overall) and two second round picks (45th overall and 52nd overall – previously acquired from the Washington Capitals).
