I remember reading an article about this and how they Flames would be able to utilize both minor league teams in their development of players.

Thing is, Adirondack is going to have JUST a head coach and a GM, and the GM probably won't be Conroy/Pascal. There'll be no assistants like Todd Gill to work with defensemen which is a big part of development in the AHL and even the CHL. More importantly, we get right back to the same issue of "Oliver doesn't have any stability" that Loob was proposing. If Kylington needs to stay pat in one place for a while, then bouncing him back between Stockton/Adirondack doesn't seem like a solution. You also run the risk of getting a malcontent Euro who wants to get traded because he's not even playing in the AHL.
