Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Flames actually own and control the Adirondack ECHL franchise now so shouldn't they have greater control in the development and more importantly playing time of players who get sent there?
I remember reading an article about this and how they Flames would be able to utilize both minor league teams in their development of players.
If that is the case maybe the Adirondack Thunder is a good place for Kylington?
