If Loob says he needs to get out of Sweden because he's not getting a fair shake and thinks he should go to the AHL I think that must mean something. Not to mention over in Sweden they likely care about the team more so than his personal development. In the AHL the Flames would have a lot more say in his development and he would be much closer to the organization. Having him learn the system and play with guys who are actually getting called up could be a major incentive for him.
