Not that I want to rehash an old trade, but it is funny seeing Luke Adam not qualified by CBJ. When the Regehr trade went down, I was hoping (and guessing) he was the return, and Buffalo fans were hoping he wasn't included.
Now you see Byron qualified and carving out somewhat of a niche for himself at the NHL level, and Adam will probably not be able to get another NHL contract for this season. I don't want to go down that path of how good the return for Regehr was or not, but just goes to show you that sometimes one can't get too emotional and definitive when talking about prospects.
