The Flames have a glut of blueliners already set for the AHL. Sieloff, Kulak, Culkin, Ramage, Morrision, and Kanzig. Yeah it would be nice to have him in the Flames system but there isn't a rush, and you don't want him in AHL without the proper ice time available.
He's 18, a year in the CHL would be great, the import draft should take place this will, will be interesting to see if he's taken.

Agree that the CHL (or stay in Sweden) is best for him. Don't think starting his ELC right away is the best. Would like him to develop his overall game more before signing him and having the clock start.
