I can honestly say that was one of the worst episodes of television I've ever seen on HBO. Almost laughably bad. A complete parody of itself.
I loved season 1 and and never could've imagined such a complete and utter disappointment to start season 2. But wow....that was incredible levels of bad. Almost seemed like an SNL skit making fun of true detective.
