For me it's the scars of Phaneuf and Bouwmeester and fear of optimism. It seems to good to be true, so I fear that it is.

Thus far Hamilton has had durability issues and is potentially asking for a pretty hefty sum.

Don't get me wrong he has huge upside and his age is exactly what the Flames should be after. If Hamilton does turn out who isn't excited about a core of Monahan, Gaudreau, Bennet, Brodie, and Hamilton. If Gillies also sticks...that's a nicely balanced 19-24 group of players. I would have made the deal myself....I tend to be wrong on stuff like this.
