There is no consensus in the draft. Mackenzie makes an average list of what, 10-15 scouts and managers he talks to? Far from a big representation of the scouts and managers across the league of which there must be hundreds.

There is no board. Every team has a COMPLETELY different list. The top two picks might've been the same across the board but other than that, I doubt there was any consensus on anything. Fans continually underestimate the extent to which the teams disagree with each other on the draft. I've watched the draft closely for about two decades now. I can tell you that there is no consensus, there is no board. Teams rarely agree on anything outside the top pick or two. It's not being obtuse, it's reality.
