What better combo could you ask for. A young, skill based, talented, hungry forward core, with a veteran, ultra reliable, puck moving blue-line. There will be no cinderella story next year. I mean, honestly, the parallels couldn't be more striking.
Zdeno Chara was 33 when Hamilton was 18. Chara signed a big money deal for term.
Mark Giordano will be 33 when his extension kicks in. Sam Bennett will be 19.
