Not sure why you think that. He's got everything we need. Size, physicality, skill and skating. He's a power forward, one of the rarest and most valuable commodities in the NHL. He sounds very much like a Lucic type.
Why wouldn't anyone like this kid? So what if he only has 2nd line skills? His size and physical game would make more room for guys like Hudler, Johnny, etc. So important to have those big, unstoppable wingers for the playoffs. Crouse would be an amazing fit for us IMO. Imagine having Crouse on the 2nd line, Ferland on the 3rd and Bouma on the 4th. Defensemen would be scared to go get the puck. Drool. Line after line of big physical wingers that are hard to handle. That's something we need.
