I don't view this as a "make or break" year. If the Flames do well, great. If they slide out of the playoffs again that's fine too. They're still a couple of years away from being a true Cup contender in my opinion, which is why I don't think they need to make a goalie move in the short term. They're better off staying patient and letting their own prospects develop.
