I tend to agree with everything you said. The one issue for me was there was a period of time where it seemed like the Flames goalies were allowing at least one soft goal per game. The odd bad goal happens don't get me wrong, but when it starts costing teams games, it becomes a huge area of concern...
I haven't seen a ton of Cam Talbot but is he really worth giving up potentially multiple assets to acquire?
I really like the idea of running with Hiller and Ortio. The latter looked fantastic in all but one or two of the games he played last season.
The only way that acquiring Talbot makes sense to me is if there is a plan in place to move Hiller out and Treliving has no intention of re-signing Ramo.
