Why would a host get so pissed off after 1 vote? I'm not sure that would be something they would do, maybe some damage control but to go "full Timbo" doesn't seem like what they would do.
I'm thinking it's possible that Timbo was given the spore and maybe infected. I think there are better lynch targets right now than Timbo.
