The odds of a mid to late 2nd round pick playing 100 NHL games is between 25-30%
And despite what people believe, very few actual stars come from these picks.
2nd rounders are thrown around. 13 2nd round picks have been traded this season! As well as 5/7 last picks in round 1!!!
So of the late 1st and 2nd rounds, 18/37, or 48% were traded this season.
