No, I think Gaudreau is far and away the more dynamic talent with regard to playmaking and making those better around him. Saying Stone made his team mates better as well doesn't change the fact Guadreau did that to a significantly higher degree.
Just as Stone has the superior two way game at this point despite the fact Gaudreau is good in his own end as well.
They both had areas they were better in.
Suggesting that star power and hype were the only areas Gaudrea was superior in couldn't be farther from the truth. He was far and away the more dynamic talent of the two and that is a huge intangible in his favour.
