As much offensive promise as he's shown at times in his 55 NHL games so far, it is too early to say whether Markus is truly capable of making a career in this league. Early signs show promise that he could be on that track but it's too early to make that big of a leap and say he's worth more than a 2nd rounder right now.

And I believe that Granlund has a higher probability of reaching that point than the average 2nd round pick. I guess it's a matter of opinion.
