Meh. Both guys finished with 1 more point than Forsberg which was enough of a difference to push Forsberg out of the nomination race.
If Gaudreau doesn't sit game 82 and get healthy scratched earlier I bet he wins it.
Eastern bias definitely came in to play with both forwards having 64 points. With two guys with equal production they created the narrative that Stone contributed more to Ottawa's playoff spot than Gaudreau did to Calgary's.
