Nice to see the agents earning their pay, leaking this info to the insiders who are hungry to be first to the post with a story....you can certainly tell that this wasn't coming from the Flames side.
And, using the NHL awards as their forum to get the most play. Not sure if Flames are too thrilled with Winter publicly bringing them into negotiations; especially as its the captain, the fact that its very early in the process and the player and the team want to get a deal done (not as if they are trying to force the Flames hand yet), and its $9m a year, so you're not going to get a lot of sympathy (if that's what the aim is from the agent)...
