He'll likely get $9 million for the first couple of years and a cap hit down around $7-8 million on a long-term deal.
When he was interviewed on the Fan last week, Gio said he wants this to be his retirement contract, and he wants to retire in Calgary. I expect him to be looking for a 6 or 7 year deal.
