There was a great comment made on Larry Wilmore's show last night re: Obama using the word on that podcast.
There's a difference between saying the word and using the word.
Obama said the word, in the context of expressing how far race relations have to go in this country. There's a difference between that and someone using the word as an insult, with hatred fueling it.
I feel like Obama has probably had that word hurled at him plenty of times in his presidency thus far.
