What happens if they don't match either? What if you owe say 2 1sts and 2 2nds to them now? Are you responsible for getting another 1st this year to flip to them, or does it go to 2016?
Imagine losing both of your 1st and 2nd round picks two years in a row.. lol. I think it is a horrible idea and a poor strategy. Probably the reason we haven't seen anyone do it yet.
Also, to be fair a lot of what TOfan is saying has already been said about other cities by people from Calgary on this board. People here constantly look down on Winnipeg, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina and many smaller market American teams.. I have seen that same smug attitude many times. Now you guys understand how infuriating it is to everyone else from the outside looking in.
