You think Sansa meandering around the Vale with Baelish for 100 pages was better than Sansa being plomped right into the middle of the fracas?
Sansa's story line in the book is the worst of all of the major characters. At least now she has a narrative purpose. I didn't like the rape scenes, I understood that they're using Sansa to make Ramsay look that much more villainous but it's a major improvement in the plot to have Sansa and Theon united in their escape than some unknown character we don't care about in Jeyne Pool.
On Doran, I just wanted a guy that was clearly more pained and physically feeble. A guy who's swollen, can barely move but is driven by seeing revenge for his house. This actor just didn't do it for me at all.
