They might, maybe it's our 45 not our 52. They don't have much depth on LW, exchange Of Hudler for Lecavalier is an upgrade and less term. They could likely trade Hudler at the deadline to a contender or bubble team for a 1st rounder in the 18 to 30 range for the 2016 draft if they don't want him or can't sign him longer term.
If you think the one trade value plot chart is close and assign Hudler as a #20 pick, Klimchuk as #30 pick, our #52 pick it might equate to a number 8 to 5 overall pick - and you save them some cap space and money on a potential buyout.
