An asking price of a top 6 + a pick is laughable. But for a decent price, I wouldn't mind acquiring Lehner.
No way would I send Ortio back the other way though, would rather keep Ortio.
As for Gillies, Treliving has specifically made comments about expecting him to take 3 years. Whether he needs that long is debatable, but I think it's a safe bet that, on their long-term projections, they have Gillies pencilled into Stockton for at least 2 or 3 years (meaning, they need another goalie).
Someone mentioned above that Lehner can still be sent down without waivers, if that is true, then I am much more on board with acquiring him. Start the season with Hiller/Ortio and Lehner/Gillies in Stockton, and then wait to see how they all play. Look to move Hiller at the deadline, or somewhere along the way if another team runs into injury problems. Finish the season with Ortio/Lehner and Gillies in the A.
I could live with all that as a plan, pending the price of acquiring Lehner (but keeping in mind that we would also get a return back for Hiller at the deadline to soften the cost).
