Its tempting to use our picks for trades but I think the smart thing to do in our situation is to hand over to the scouts and let them fight amongst themselves, debate, and finally make every pick count.
I trust this management, for the first time ever, to do the right thing.
Only trade Hudler for overpayment. Use all of our picks in the first 3 rounds at the draft. Trade up and down but dont bring in a player to help us right away via trade if theres someone on the board the scouts are dying to pick(which there almost always is).
Imagine all of the teams who could have had Weber or Suter because they were high on them but didnt have a high enough pick to grab them. We have tons of high picks, keep them all and take the guys we like.
