CGY, EDM and WPG all have extra picks in the first three rounds and VAN has one. This draft has the potential to put the Canucks back in the Stone Age developmentally compared to their Western Canadian rivals. It's bittersweet though because the Oil and Jets are going to walk away from this draft with possibly a better haul than the Flames. Oh well, it keeps things interesting.
