Hockey Equipment is also quite bulky so what looks like a ton is probably not as much as you think.

I have been honored to be a part of the group at the front of the line for the last 2 years. They have been first in line for the last 6 yrs or so. I can attest that not one of the 4 people in front of me are re-sellers. I heard a lot of hate and rude remarks directed to these guys about re-selling or being jerks for taking everything. They are great guys who love to collect equipment. There is no harm in it.
On the young kids remark, this year I witnessed one of these guys buying a random kid a stick he wanted because he saw the kid was really upset that he couldn't afford a certain stick he wanted.
Personally I only buy what I will use ( although I wanted those Gaudreau's so I could get them signed and display them. I have to cheer on my American bro ya know).
