I do question your characterization of Lebanon as a democracy. If that is true then none of the Lebanese people are innocent because they have started an unprovoked war with Israel. The fact of the matter is that Hezbolah is in control of a good portion of the country. It is not Lebanon but, rather Hezbolah central. Hezbolah goal is the destruction of Israel. If Hezbolah choses to hide behind their women and children then their women and children should die with them. And Israel hides behind America and all the free weapons they get. I wonder how things would be if all the countries of the region were free to support who they wanted to and GIVE weapons to who they wished to?
