It's not impossible, because Chicago was literally one win away from it last year. You don't need to change the definition of a dynasty just because of the salary cap. It's supposed to be a rare thing.

Before the cap era you had a succession of dynasties with the Canadiens in the early 70's followed by the Islanders in the late 70's into the 80's and then the Oilers. Today with league parity and not being able to buy a championship and or keep all of your best players, we are only now seeing it as a rare thing.
