I don't think 76 points for Hudler was necessarily a fluke. He was buried by talented wingers in Detroit and came here to fill a hole in our wing with endless opportunity to turn into an elite playmaker, and he did. We were a very bad team when he got here and wasn't exactly playing with first line guys, no offense to Cammy and Tanguay, but once we got some raw young skill for our first line for Hudler to work with, he finally reached his true potential.
Losing Hudler for the character side of things is also a tremendous loss, but we still have Gio, we still have Mony who will probably get Hudler's A when he does leave, and guys like Boums and Russell. Hell the whole team has a ton character, thats what the flames look at in their drafting, they're built on it.
