E3 2015: The Thread
With Bethesda kicking things off tonight with their first ever press conference, time to boot up the thread! It's gamer Christmas once again and this is looking to be one of the more interesting shows in recent years with lots of big titles set to be revealed or shown in detail for the first time. The highlights are, of course, the press conferences, a majority of which will be taking place tomorrow, the 15th. Here is the full press conference schedule, with all times in MST:
Bethesda
Sunday, June 16th: 8:00PM
Bethesda comes in with their first full press conference ever. We're assured to see a gameplay demo of Fallout 4, and will likely here news about DOOM and a new game from Arkane Studios (Dishonored 2?). Should be a fun way to kick things off early!
Microsoft
Monday, June 15th: 10:30AM
Microsoft is sure to have some surprises up their sleeves as they've said this is a show focused mainly on first party titles, which we don't know much about. Halo 5 will get some huge exposure, as well as a new entry in the Gears of War franchise, but not much is known beyond that. Rare is also said to be revealing a new game that will make many people happy, which is an exciting prospect.
EA
Monday, June 15th: 2:00PM
Obviously everyone is excited to see if Star Wars: Battlefront's gameplay can live up to it's excellent trailer. Perhaps EA will be showing more Star Wars games as well? Need for Speed and Mirror's Edge Catalyst are already confirmed to be shown, and you never know what other surprises might be in store.
Ubisoft
Monday, June 15th: 4:00PM
Ubisoft follow closely after EA and has some interesting titles this year. Will be nice to see more of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and Rainbow Six Siege. Hopefully we hear about some new Ubiarts titles, as games developed on that engine have proven to be excellent artistic endeavors.
Sony
Monday, June 15th: 7:00PM
Sony will likely show off it's virtual reality headset 'Project Morpheus' in a more complete, consumer-ready form for the first time. Uncharted 4 will have a huge presence during the show, and we're likely to see the reveal of Guerilla Games' new IP. Will The Last Guardian finally make an appearence?
Nintendo
Tuesday, June 16th: 10:00AM
Nintendo is a wildcard, as always, already stating that they won't be showing off the new Zelda for Wii U. We're sure to get more details and release windows for great looking games like Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles X. As usual, there is anticipation for revivals or sequels to some of Nintendo's dormant franchises: Metroid, Star Fox, and F-Zero are all possibilities that would excite long time fans.
Square Enix
Tuesday, June 16th: 11:00AM
Square Enix, like Bethesda, is hosting their own press conference for the first time. We'll likely see a lot more of Square's properties they acquired from Eidos, namely Rise of the Tomb Raider and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Internally developed titles like Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III would certainly make a big impression. You can also never count out the Japanese publisher having a surprise or two to close off the press conferences.

And that will do it for the press conferences, with of course lots of other news, previews, trailers, and more happening throughout the week. Let's discuss it all here and have fun!
