Actually, she does pay city taxes in the form of the luxury tax charged within Westgate. She is also exactly the type of person the Westgate complex was designed to create: people coming from outside Glendale and spending money in the community. She is something Glendale desperately needs a lot more of to stave off financial insolvency.
That being said, you are of course right. She isn't a resident of Glendale eligible to vote, so the mayor likely could not care less what she has to say. But this is really semantics, as given the vote was obviously a
fait acompli, a resident of Glendale making the same comments would have been similarly ignored.
