no one has jumped on this so I will. how small is the market?
SJ - probably looking with Niemi supposedly on way out and Stalock is not the solution
Dallas - making Lehtonen available - but imagine they'd want to send him our way for Hiller
Carolina - same as Dallas, but with Cam Ward
STL - Treliving reportedly offered Hiller for Jake Allen. Non starter from STL perspective, but perhaps interest there. Probably have to take Brian Elliott back
WPG - maybe but probably want to send Pavelec back
Minny - maybe if Dubnyk prices himself out of market
Edmonton - possible but unlikely as they are looking younger
Phoenix - would have to take Smith's contract back
Philly - they are always looking
Buffalo - they need someone but probably someone younger
So that's 10 teams, but which of those 10 would actually view Hiller as an upgrade over what they have? That probably drops it down a bit. And a few of those teams might want to send a G back - is Treliving willing to accept one? Complicated with Vancouver supposedly shopping Lack and some of the goalies listed above being made available. Only way I can see a deal is for another goalie, perhaps one listed above.
