Yah but he's signed for only 2 more years. As long as we don't spend too much acquiring him (assets) it really inst a huge risk is it? If at the end of his contract his age is really beginning to show, we dump him at the deadline or let him walk as a free agent. And in the mean time he takes a roster spot allowing Poirier or this years 15th overall (if we get a C/RW) the proper time to develop.
I think Sharp would be a great player to add if we can do it without majorly jeopardizing our future.
Klimchuk + Raymond for Sharp or something.
