That said don't the Flames have enough C/RW in the system right now with Colborne, Shore and Jooris? @25 years old he'd worth a shot at a RW slot. Always earned. Nothing is ever penciled in for Hartley aside from the usual guys like Monahan, Bennett, Gaudreau, Hudler.
I'm saying it's worth a shot to see if he can get it in camp. if not, no loss.
