A $56 million 7 year deal means:
$56 million / 5 = $11.2 million AAV for compensation purposes.
For all practical purposes a team with an offer sheet can't offer more than 5 years term, or they pretty much get automatically bumped up into the next compensation bracket(s).
But who knows maybe MacT is in charge of preparing the offer sheet
