Yeah, it was a great game, and more than anything I was glad to see the super-annoying Esks-fan lady in our section get her comeupance. Avoiding turnovers against Montreal is huge, but the worst thing about the Stamps last night was stupid penalties, ones away from the play that took back significant gains. One thing I noticed about Montreal is how nobody dropped an easy pass all night; Cavillo had some bad passes, but if the pass was on target, the receivers came down with it every time. I'm no fan of Hank, and there were a few things he did last night that infuriated me (in particular, on the game-tying drive: after getting it into Sandro's range, he threw one pass that could have been picked off if the defender had another step on the ball, and then he took a ten yard sack that made the kick far less of a sure thing), but it really was one of the better games he's played this year. Great decision-making about when to take off and run. And my favorite play was the bootleg shovel-pass to Howell (I think); QBs like Allen and Ray make a killing with little misdirection passes like that, and I would love to see more of it in the Calgary playbook.
