The guy is talented. He had a lot of injury trouble early in his career including a bout with cancer. Toronto has been a hell hole last couple of years. Even in his awful last year he had 61 points in 82 games.
He shows up in the playoff, 22 career playoff games 21 points. Over the last 5 years he hasn't missed a game and put up 339 points in 376 games. That's 0.9 points per game. He's averaged close to 20 minutes a games over that span.
He would be lethal playing with Gaudreau and Monahan. I hope BT makes a play for him.
Hudler needs to be moved out. Hopefully we can find a team looking for offence for defence. Hudler went invisible in the playoffs, don't need that.

I thought Hudler was playing injured, he is a big reason Monahan and Gaudreau played as well as they did. Why not just move Hudler, or Kessel to the second line, or whichever works better?
