I dont' entirely disagree with you. Israel should have shown a lot more restraint than they have - but no matter what they do, they get criticized. If anything, they're copying the techniques that Hizbollah/Hezbollah (spelling of the day) have demonstrated. If Flash Walken is going to criticize Israel for it, he'd better be willing to criticize Hezbollah for it - something he has never even hinted at.

Sometime, a point of view can stand on its own. If I have a question/criticism, I don't need someone else standing behind me. I can question / criticize it on my own merits.

Always? No, you're right. Sometimes, they do provide valid points and cause more discussion. It was a blog that pointed out the invalid Reuter's photos.

IMO, to use blogs as your sole source of news or information is just as bad as totally dismissing them.
