It depends on when they start the contract and if they burn a year.
If Jankowski signs a 2 year ELC in April with the contract starting for 2016/2017. (i.e. year not burned)
- would be ineligible to play in any Flames game including playoffs in the 2015-2016 season
- could sign an ATO with Stockton and join them for the rest of their season and AHL playoffs (2015-2016)
- RFA after the 2017/2018 season
