Perhaps remarkable would have been a better word.
In this forum there's a tendency to call players who are 6'1' or 6'2" "big" players. I just don't find that height impressive in today's NHL (not like when Messier was considered a big player and Joel Otto was a monster towering over him). 6'1" is pretty middle of the road to me.
I like his weight at his age though. I have noticed that players with a bit more heft like Ferland play bigger than taller guys with less poundage.
