It is a low risk signing, but he could be the next Bryan Cameron.
Difference this time is that Cameron was signed to a 3 year ELC, most of which he spent in the ECHL.
At least with Marcotte, they can cut ties with him after a year if he looks like a bust.

I should have clarified I didn't mean right away, however with Poirier hopefully pushing for a 1or 2 RW spot with his offensive numbers im asking if there is that potential in a year or 2? Hudler is UFA after this year so we need at lease 1 RW to fill that spot as I doubt the Flames will give him a big UFA contract
his numbers show he has offensive upside, playing with Monahan and Gaudreau he just needs to be able to keep up.
I know they aren't Crosby but Kunitz is proof that a potential 3rd line player that can finish could flourish with highly skilled linemates
