Being a tad bit optimistic. How about letting him earn at least a NHL contract first before even thinking about him replacing anyone in the NHL?
It is a low risk signing, but he could be the next Bryan Cameron.
Difference this time is that Cameron was signed to a 3 year ELC, most of which he spent in the ECHL.
At least with Marcotte, they can cut ties with him after a year if he looks like a bust.
